The oatmeal soap cleans well and works as an occasional shampoo. It is a bit expensive, but if you buy ten it is less than $6 per bar which is a reasonable price for their good-sized bars.
There's really no better soap. I use it on hair and body and it made my dandruff disappear. Nothing has worked as well on my dandruff in thirty years of managing dandruff.
Only crib: the soap dissolves really quickly and so you tend to go through it faster than say Grandpa's pine tar soap.
This is the only liquid tallow soap I have been able to find that doesn’t have additives. All the others have fragrances and/or seed oils added. This shampoo was exactly what I was looking for and works really well. If you’re looking for a pure product, this is it.
I used pine tar soap often when I was a teenager. Now I am older, I decided to try it again. But I could not replicate the same good experience I had when I was younger. I searched online and discovered the Old Whippersnapper's company. Their website and emails educated me on how pine tar soap is made, and the ingredients used. It was eye opening. In my opinion, some other manufactures are really being disingenuous calling their soap pine tar when the actual percentage of pine tar is so low. If you are looking for real pine tar soap, give Old Whippersnapper’s a try. I really like their pine tar soap formulation. I will reorder from them again when my supply runs low.
Purchased my yearly supply of soap to save on cost and shipping. Very happy with the quality of the soap.
I have been using Old Whippersnapper for a few years now and have been extremely satisfied with the quality, cost and exceptional service.
I've long had ezzema on my hands. Only this tallow soap visibly helps. The Pine Tar soap is the best made. I will try them all soon. But the quality is off the charts
The pine tar soap and shampoo are very nice and lather wonderfully! My only wish is that it would be scented more for women, not that I mind terribly smelling manly but a bit less manly would be nice for us female fans! Live the product though! Packaged perfect and arrived quickly! I will be purchasing from Old Whippersnapper again!
Just finished up using pine tar and going ready to start a tea tree soap with cedarwood to follow… wonderful quality and the fragrance is perfect…thanks for the hard work in making such great products!!!!
I bought the gift set of 3 shampoos for a friend. She raves about them and says they among the best she has ever used! She also likes it that the scents are not overpowering and are "fresh" smelling.
I have a dry scalp prone to breakouts. This shampoo seems to help well with that. Would recommend.
Well done, simple but usefull little thing. Works well for me with the soap I purchased from you. Thank you for the present.
Purchased after reading about sulphur soap's benefit for the skin. Have just started using. Looking forward to good results.
Cedar soap holder is elegant and very well built! Will purchase more in the future
I ordered 4 shampoos and find them all to be really god for hair. They have lots of suds and leave hair feeling clean and soft--and smelling CLEAN also--NO heavy odors!!
The jojoba oil really helps moisturize my skin. Love knowing and being able to recognize exactly whats in the soap (no oddball chemicals)!!
