During the soap making process, lye is used to transform the olive oil into soap and glycerin. We then incorporate Orange Peel Oil at 3% by oil volume - a much higher percentage than other soap companies. Great soap, I keep buying!
I originally bought the soap on a recommendation of a friend because the tea tree soap I have been purchasing elsewhere was not very good. The higher tea tree content in old whippersnappers is fantastic and has helped with reducing skin issues for me as I seem to be allergic to the detergent in some soap. It smells great also.

In the past I've used gels and creams and even shave oils. They are OK, but this stuff takes things up a notch higher. It is very smooth and slick without over-lathering; and the fact that in comes in a pump dispenser is just perfect for me!
