Unlike many other “carbolic” soaps that lean on cresylic acid and the distinct smell of creosote as its signature smell, Old Whippersnapper uses pure Carbolic Acid (Phenol). My nose confirmed this by directly comparing it to the pure phenol scent from a Chloraseptic spray (minus the cherry, of course!).
You get that classic, unmistakable, strong aroma: deeply medicinal, tarry, and smoky but with a prominent leathery quality. It’s less astringent than other formulas, making it uniquely comforting. Just the best. All natural, smell great, and perfect for everyday use. I use the shampoo as a body wash and it works great!!

First of all, if you're buying this soap, expecting it to be red and have red dye in it,Just because that's how you equate the past Experience with a former brand name soap,Then move on ,the soaps not for you.BUT I absolutely love this carbolic soap. It's a brand new modern Made soap, it gives you the classic ,Old, good antiseptic, clean feeling.
I'm absolutely amazed how it makes my skin feel and makes my face feel💯 this coming from a guy who when he sweats his armpits smell like onions or a hoagie but this soap is so good that it made my armpits smell clean for at least 2 to 3 days.
