I decided to make this soap because the pumice type exfoliating soaps were so darn drying to my skin. And incredibly rough. You want to have the dirt and grime removed, not a layer of skin. I found that by adding spent cleaned coffee grounds to my best handmade coconut oil and olive oil soap it made an awesome exfoliating soap! Way better than the pumice types. I gave some samples to my friends and they loved it. After working on their greasy cars or out in the field tilling in the dirt they found that it would easily remove the gunk, grime, and dirt without ripping off a layer of their skin.

A Happy Face
Thought I would try out the coffee exfoliant for a face wash. Too many store bought soaps were too expensive, harsh or just didn't make a positive change over time. This stuff was a gentle slap to my face: rich lather, mild scent almost like dark chocolate, a great texture with a mild grit. In short, my dirty, oily face felt refreshed without being stripped of moisture. Definitely hooked.
