how to make shampoo at home without castile soap

Castile shampoo is one of the oldest shampoos around. Records of such have been found dating all the way back to the 11th Century. The best castile shampoos are traditionally made with 100% olive oil and that is how I make ours. In fact I go the extra mile and make our Castile shampoo with 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil. (Interesting tidbit: Many if not most shampoo manufacturers now use cheap fillers like palm oil and other chemical compounds in their Castile shampoo recipes and pass it off as "Pure Castile". Just read their labels. That is entirely misleading to you the consumer. AND they water down the liquid shampoos big time. They get a bigger profit and you get an inferior shampoo.)
