Pine tar soap is a traditional product that has been cherished for centuries for its numerous benefits. Derived from tar created from the sap of pine trees, this soap is known for its skin-soothing properties, making it an ideal choice for individuals dealing with various skin conditions. Our Pine tar soap has gained popularity not just for its therapeutic qualities but for its 20% Pine Tar content, much higher than overrated commercial brands that often use fillers, perfumes, and deceptive "pine tar" tar substitutes.
Many people prefer using pine tar soap due to its effectiveness in treating skin issues such as:
- Dandruff and dry scalp
- Psoriasis and eczema
- Acne and breakouts
- Insect bites and irritations
One of the outstanding features of pine tar soap is its ability to gently cleanse while providing relief. Its natural ingredients work together to nourish and hydrate your skin, leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized. Unlike commercial soaps, which may contain harsh chemicals that irritate the skin, pine tar soap is a simple yet effective solution derived from nature.
This soap is generally well-tolerated by most skin types; however, it is always advisable to perform a patch test before full application. The soothing texture of pine tar soap promotes healing and may enhance overall skin health when used regularly.
In addition to its practical applications, pine tar soap offers a nostalgic connection to simpler times. Our process of making this soap involves methods that preserve the essence of the pine tar, ensuring you receive a product that is both authentic and effective.
Please note that the pine tar we use is processed using the closed-barrel method. Creosote is a byproduct of the pyrolysis (burning) process when producing pine tar. Closed-kiln, closed-barrel, high-temperature, or vacuum-sealed production systems are designed to prevent the formation or minimize the presence of creosote. Open kiln methods, which many pine tar soap companies use, generally contain large amounts of creosote.
Pine tar soap is not just a product; it's an experience. Whether you seek to address specific skin concerns or simply wish to enjoy the benefits of a natural soap, adding pine tar soap to your daily regimen can be a transformative choice.
*Full list of ingredients: Pine Tar, Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Glycerin (naturally derived from manufacturing process), and Lye (used for saponification to create the soap; final product contains no lye).

I have been using this brand of pine tar soap for 5 years now. The benefits it gives by relieving me from dandruff and other minor skin irritations are remarkable! I have used other brands throughout my life but, the products I used did not yield the results of relief that was sought. This pine tar soap does the job! Perhaps, the amount of ingredient has something to do with it. The bottom line is, I'm a happy camper and glad to have found the website with this product, five years ago. 🙂Definitely Content
I buy this soap because it's good soap. It's real soap. It lasts.

I use this soap for myself and my three dogs. I live in a wooded area find that it helps repel ticks. It’s a must in spring, summer and fall in northeastern USA. Thanks!
Love the dogs. We have an all black Czech German Shepherd ourselves. Going on 9 months old now. Strong as a bull and about as stubborn as one too!
Always good stuff and easy to deal with. As long as they keep making it, I’ll keep buying it.
