Each premium Authentic Carbolic Soap loaf weighs approximately 2.90 lb and arrives sealed in food-grade shrink wrap. Size of each loaf is 10"L x 2.75"W x 3"H. Cut it yourself with a sharp knife, or choose our cutting service ($5 per loaf) for ten 1-inch bars stacked together (not individually sealed). We offer no exceptions to the above. We also offer a nice soap cutter for purchase. Soap Saver Dishes are also available. Store your soap in any plastic resealable container.

Remember the old Carbolic Soap from years ago? It  was widely used as a disinfectant for hand washing, body cleansing, underarm odor reducer, amongst many other uses. It has a unique smell to it due to its active ingredient Carbolic Acid. To this day it is still used by the Red Cross and Hospitals due to its germicidal properties. Every now and then you can still find the real stuff however most you now see available actually contain no Carbolic Acid (the active ingredient that made it Carbolic Soap). These fake carbolic soaps actually contain compounds which attempt to replicate the unique smell of Carbolic Acid (and they do it poorly).

The only difference between my Carbolic Soap and the Carbolic Soap of years ago is that I do not add artificial red coloring to my soap. My soap is all natural and only contains Carbolic Acid, Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Lye (used for saponification to create the soap; final product contains no lye). Nothing further is added so you get a real pure bar of Carbolic Soap which is a natural light tan in color.
