The first soap I ever made was lard soap. My grandmother taught me how to make it and that was over 50 years ago. Now I make what I believe is the finest grass-fed beef tallow soap you can buy anywhere.
This is real soap. Made from rendered grass-fed beef tallow, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and lye (which turns the oils into soap and naturally occurring glycerin). No lye remains after the soap is created through the saponification process.

Our beef tallow comes from grass-fed cattle raised on pasture. No grain finishing. No feedlots. Just cattle eating grass the way nature intended.
The vast majority of soap makers who claim to use "beef tallow" are actually using conventional tallow from grain-fed, factory-farmed cattle. That's not what we do here.
Grass-fed beef tallow contains higher levels of vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and omega-3 fatty acids. These nutrients remain in the soap and benefit your skin directly.

How We Source Our Tallow
Our grass-fed beef tallow comes from cattle raised on pasture without grain finishing.
How To Use Beef Tallow Soap
Use it like any bar soap. Wet the bar, lather in your hands or directly on your body, then rinse thoroughly.
For Face: Lather in hands and apply to face. Rinse completely with warm water.
For Body: Use directly on skin or with a washcloth. The rich lather covers easily.
For Hair: Yes, you can use it as shampoo. Suds up your hands real well with the soap then apply to your hair. Rinse thoroughly. I also suggest using an apple cider vinegar rinse after shampooing. To make it is real easy: Add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to 2 pints of water. After your shampooing just pour a bit onto your scalp, work it in a bit to fully get to all hair, then rinse out completely. It closes up the hair follicles and is good for your scalp.
Storage: Store your soap in any plastic resealable container or on a soap dish that drains well. Keep it dry between uses and it will last a long time.
Use sparingly and it will last a long time. It dissolves fast but the quality is excellent.
