This is the first soap I ever made. My grandmother taught me how to make it and that was over 50 years ago. Lard soap is one of the simplest yet longest lasting soaps around. It is made with only two ingredients, Lard and Lye. After it is made the lard and lye become soap & Glycerin, which is super good for your skin. No artificial fillers whatsoever.
