This is what makes our soap so good. Really Good Soap!

I often get questions on what makes our soap so sudsy and creamy.  It is because we only use wholesome, natural ingredients and never any harsh commercial additives which attempt to replicate the natural suds that our homemade soap has.

The base for all of our soaps (except our shaving soap and lard soap) is simply extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil.  To that we add, depending upon the soap, either pine tar, tea tree oil, lemongrass oil, jojoba oil, or coffee grounds (for our exfoliating coffee soap).

Our shaving soap uses coconut oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, and shea butter.

What is used as the base in our lard soap?  Just one ingredient, Lard.

Each soap is then created by adding lye, which through a process known as saponification turns the base fats into soap and glycerin.  No lye is left after the process completes.

Many other soap companies add cheap quality tea tree oil, jojoba oil, and lemongrass oils to their soaps, and not much of them either.  We only use pharmaceutical grade tea tree oil, and also the highest grade jojoba and lemongrass oils, and pine tar.  Furthermore we use twice as much if not more of these essential oils, and pine tar, than the leading brands.  You will definitely notice the difference when you use our soaps!
